How do I email past call transcripts?

To save a call transcript by emailing it to yourself on an iPhone

  1. Open the InnoCaption app

  2. Tap Recents

  3. Select the call transcript you would like to save by tapping the Transcript icon (a blue square) to the right of the call information

  4. Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the page- the icon is a square with an arrow

  5. Tap the Mail app

    Note: If the "Mail services are not available" pop-up appears, your Mail app is not set upโ€‹

  6. An email draft will appear with the transcript in a text file

  7. Enter the email address you would like to send the transcript to

  8. Tap the blue arrow button in the upper right hand corner to send the transcript to yourself

Please note that for iPhones, you will need to have an email account associated with the iPhone native Mail application for emails to be sent out directly from the InnoCaption app. For instructions on how to set this up, please refer to Apple's instructions here.

If you would like to send the call transcript through a different medium (e.g., AirDrop, Messages, or a different email app), select your preferred medium in Step 5 above.

To save a call transcript by emailing it to yourself on Android Next Gen (New v4.0)

  1. Open the InnoCaption app

  2. Tap Recents

  3. Select the call transcript you would like to save by tapping the Transcript icon (a blue square) to the right of the call information

  4. Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the page- the icon is a square with an arrow

  5. Select your preferred app

  6. An email draft will appear with the transcript file attached to the email

  7. Enter the email address you would like to send the transcript to

  8. Tap the blue arrow button in the upper right hand corner to send the transcript to yourself
