How to check and delete voicemail messages

Please make sure you have personalized your InnoCaption voicemail. If you have not, please refer to the article below:

Voicemail notifications

If you have badge notifications enabled for the InnoCaption app, you will see a red bubble over the icon on your phone screen. When you open the InnoCaption app, you will see a red bubble with the number of new voicemail messages over the Voicemail icon at the bottom of the app screen.

To listen to your voicemail messages on an iPhone and Android Next Gen (New v4.0)

  1. Open the InnoCaption app

  2. Tap the Voicemail icon on the bottom toolbar. You will see a list of voicemails with the caller's name or phone number

  3. Select the voicemail message you would like to view. You will see the full voicemail transcript that is automatically generated by our speech recognition engine

  4. If you would like to listen to the voicemail, tap the Play button (a blue triangle)

  5. If you would like the voicemail to be re-captioned, tap Re-caption, then tap your preferred caption mode. After you've listened to the voicemail, tap Update or Discard to keep or discard the transcript

To delete voicemail messages

  1. Open the InnoCaption app

  2. Tap the Voicemail icon on the bottom toolbar. You will see a list of voicemails with the caller's name or phone number

  3. Tap Edit at the top right of the screen

  4. If you would like to delete specific voicemail message(s)

    1. Tap the circle next to the voicemail message(s) you would like to delete

    2. Tap the Trash icon

    3. Tap Delete and the selected voicemail message(s) will be deleted

    1. Tap Done

  5. If you would like to mass delete voicemail messages

    1. Tap the Circle with the check mark icon at the top left of the screen. All of the voicemail messages will be selected

    2. Tap the Trash icon

    3. Tap Delete and all of the voicemail messages will be deleted

    1. Tap Done

To mark voicemail messages as read

  1. Open the InnoCaption app

  2. Tap the Voicemail icon on the bottom toolbar. You will see a list of voicemails with the caller's name or phone number

  3. Tap Edit at the top right of the screen

  4. If you would like to mark specific voicemail message(s) as read, tap the circle next to the voicemail message(s) you would like to mark as read OR

  5. If you would like to mass mark voicemail messages as read, tap the Circle with the check mark icon at the top left of the screen. All of the voicemail messages will be selected

  6. Tap the Envelope with the check mark icon at the top left of the screen

  7. Tap Done. The selected voicemail messages will be marked as read

To store voicemail messages

If you would like to store your voicemails, please leave the messages under the Voicemail menu. You can store a maximum of two hundred (200) voicemail messages in your InnoCaption mailbox.
