How to reinstate an InnoCaption account

If your account has been inactive for a long period of time, your account may have been put to sleep. In order to reinstate your account, you will need to go through the registration process again.

If you still have the InnoCaption app on your phone, proceed to the steps below.

To reinstate your account
Once you have downloaded the app, tap I have hearing loss or I'm testing for someone else. You will be taken through the account reinstatement steps where you will need to verify your cell phone number and provide your personal information for compliance purposes. After you complete the registration process you can go back to the Login screen and enter your cell phone number and password to activate the app.

When you first activate the app, you will be asked to grant a series of permissions (access to your microphone, enable notifications, access to your location). Please be sure to allow these permission requests so the app can function properly.

*Please note that if your account has been deleted, you will need to go through the registration process again to create a new account. In other words, the reinstating process for deleted accounts and sleep mode accounts is the same.
