"All live captioners are busy" message

Learn why you may see a message about all live captioners being busy, and how to get AI captions as a backup

When we are experiencing an unexpected surge in call volumes and all of our live stenographers are assisting other users with their calls, you may see the "All live captioners are busy" message. We apologize for the inconvenience when this happens and ask for your patience and understanding.

To avoid your call not connecting due to all live stenographers being busy, InnoCaption offers the ability to use our best-in-class AI captioning technology as a backup in those situations. In order to use this backup setting, enable AI fallback by following the steps below.

To enable AI fallback

  1. Open the InnoCaption app

  2. Tap Call preferences

  3. Tap the AI fallback toggle ON (green)

With this setting enabled, if a live stenographer is unavailable at the time of your call, AI will temporarily caption the call until a live assistant becomes available.
