How do I move my InnoCaption information to a new phone or phone number?
Updated over a month ago

When you get a new phone and/or a new phone number through your carrier, it is possible to carry over your InnoCaption number, voicemail box, and call logs from your old device. Below is step-by-step guidance for the most common data transfer situations users find themselves in.

Please note that when you get a new device or a new phone number through your carrier, your InnoCaption number and your account password will remain the same. You can simply download the InnoCaption app on your new phone and sign in with your account information. You do not need to re-register with InnoCaption when you get a new phone.

Important Notice

Carrying over all of your call logs and transcripts from one device to another is only possible if you are using the same Apple ID or Google Account (Android) for both devices. This means that you cannot reinstate your call history and transcripts if you change from an Android to iPhone device (or vice versa). Even if your new phone is the same device type as your old one (Android or iPhone), the account you use to login to the devices must also be identical for your call logs to be imported.

If you are changing device types or using a new account, you can still save important call transcripts by emailing them to yourself one at a time, by following the instructions in the article below:
