For iPhones, the InnoCaption app works on iPhone XS and newer devices with iOS 13.0 or higher.

Please note that in 2023, Apple discontinued support for the iPhone X and older devices. If you have one of these devices, the InnoCaption app will continue to work, but keep in mind that you will not have access to the latest Apple iOS systems and related security updates.

Below are a list of iOS devices that we regularly test and know work well with our app:

  • iPhone XR, XS series

  • iPhone 11 series

  • iPhone 12 series

  • iPhone 13 series

  • iPhone 14 series

For Android devices, the InnoCaption app works on devices with Android OS 8.0 or higher.

Please note that in 2023, Google discontinued support for devices with Android OS 9.0 and older. If you have one of these devices, the InnoCaption app will continue to work, but please keep in mind that you will not have access to Google's latest features and security updates.

Below are a list of Android devices that we regularly test and know work well with our app:

  • Google Pixel 5

  • Google Pixel 6

  • Samsung Galaxy A32 5G

  • Samsung Galaxy A42 5G

  • Samsung Galaxy A71 5G

  • Samsung Galaxy S8

  • Samsung Galaxy S10 series

  • Samsung Galaxy S20 series

  • Samsung Galaxy S22

While we always strive to make the InnoCaption app as easy to use and compatible with as many devices as possible, we have seen technical compatibility issues with Jitterbug and Motorola phones that we are unable to fully resolve at this time.

Important reminder when purchasing a new device.

When you are considering the purchase of a new phone, if you are not looking at the latest model, please keep in mind that manufacturers phase out support for older devices. While a phone's operating system may be compatible with the InnoCaption app right now, once a manufacturer discontinues support for your device, you may not be able to update the app to its latest version. As such, we generally encourage our users to purchase phones that will not run the risk of becoming incompatible in the near future.
