Text-to-speech, or TTS, is now available during InnoCaption Bot meetings. This feature allows you to type a message and have it spoken during your meeting.
TTS can be helpful when you prefer not to speak, need assistance communicating verbally, or want to use a saved phrase during a conversation.
How to use TTS with InnoCaption Bot
Sign in to InnoCaption Web
Join a supported online meeting using InnoCaption Bot
Once the bot joins the meeting, locate the TTS box at the bottom of the screen
Type the message you would like to say
Click Speak to play the message
Your typed message will be spoken aloud in the meeting so the other participants can hear it.
Use TTS shortcuts
You can also use saved TTS shortcuts for phrases you use frequently. When creating or editing a TTS shortcut, click on the Preview icon to hear how the phrase will sound before saving it. During an InnoCaption Bot meeting, select a saved shortcut to play the phrase aloud. Before your meeting
Make sure Text-to-Speech is enabled in your InnoCaption Web settings and that you have selected your preferred voice.
